Across a musical career spanning more than thirty years, Maria Rivas has released ten albums and headlined concerts throughout Latin America, North America, Europe and Asia. Her international appearances include the world-renowned Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland.

Maria captivates audiences with a uniquely melodious voice, dynamic stage expression and remarkable scat improvisations that have drawn comparisons with Ella Fitzgerald. A recipient of major singing honours in Venezuela and Latin America, she became a cultural icon through the enduring success of her hit song Manduco. Maria is now based in South Florida.
