A career written in records and stages
Recording history. Live electricity.
Following a solo contract with EMI Records, Norwood became the lead singer of “Pieces of a Dream, featuring Norwood.” Their album “Bout Dat Time” earned him his first gold record through the hit “What Can I Do?”
He later recorded “Young Man, Older Woman” with Grammy nominee Millie Jackson, a song that became the foundation of the touring musical of the same name. That recording pedigree now meets a bold, unmistakable live presence.
“A genuine recording artist whose voice carries the weight of experience, history and showmanship.”
