Q and the Band is the project of the jazz/soul/RnB singer-songwriter whose husky vocals and theatrical performances have seen her perform at an array of venues across Sri Lanka and the United Kingdom.
A multi-disciplinary artist, she's also an accomplished actress whose credits have included the Oscar-nominated film, Water (2005), Midnight’s Children (2011) and most recently Netflix’s Funny Boy (2019). She is also a model who has been included in fashion editorials for international magazines like L'Officiel Italia and Cosmopolitan Sri Lanka as well as campaigns for Buddhi Batiks and Selyn Fairtrade Handloom.
