Jo Hell
Born and raised in Montreal, Jo Hell began building his reputation on the Quebec blues-rock scene before moving to Austin, Texas, where his music absorbed the sound and attitude of the American South.
His band performed at SXSW, became the house band at Nuno’s on 6th Blues Club and appeared at renowned venues including Antone’s. Years of touring took Jo Hell across the United States, Canada and Europe, where his powerful guitar playing and electrifying stage presence earned a loyal following.
Throughout his career, he has shared the stage with major blues and rock figures including Pinetop Perkins, Hubert Sumlin, Buddy Miles, Gary Clark Jr. and Frank Hannon. His sound blends Texas blues, classic rock and raw rock’n’roll energy into a direct, high-impact live experience.
