Karine Ste-Marie has been singing and writing her own songs since the age of four. She has always felt a strong passion for music and writing. Singing in various styles and venues, from jazz lounges to colourful pop medleys on TV, this artist has always known how to stand out with authenticity and honesty.

 2016 -2018 have been very busy for Karine as she joined the UK based company Belinda King Creative Productions as a singer for the casts of the Zaandam and Rotterdam ships for Holland America Line and the luxurious Seabourn Odyssey. Her travels across South America, Antarctica, USA, Canada, Central America and Europe have inspired the making of new songs with a new outlook on life. In 2015, Karine was a part of the French Canadian version of the hit show The Voice, La Voix III. She was lucky enough to experience two different coaches and be a part of the live shows, seen by nearly 3 million viewers (65% of the Quebec market).  Her rendition of Willie Nelson’s “Always On My Mind” with Mathieu Holubowski was proclaimed the most beautiful battle in the history of La Voix and made it on the album and Itunes top 5 sales in the province of Quebec. Prior to that experience, Karine attended the ”Summer Musical Theatre Workshop” at Circle In the Square Theatre School in New York City, in the summer of 2014. She also obtained a college degree in popular music (vocals), from “Cégep Lionel-Groulx” in 2006. She has accumulated a lot of private lessons and mentoring throughout the years and has done more than 500 shows across Canada and the USA with different cover bands and projects.In addition to La Voix, Karine has taken part of a few TV shows such as “Decibel” and “Téléthon Opération Enfant Soleil” and she was part of Canada’s TOP 12 in “Popstars 3: The One” in 2002. Known for her versatile pop vocal technique, she is also a passionate songwriter. She has been awarded with SOCAN prizes and has been granted with a prestigious fund from “Conseil des Arts et Lettres du Québec” in 2010. In November 2012, Karine Ste-Marie released her first independant record named “Another Day”. Co-written with Marc-André Bourbonnais, this record is a colorful pop attitude journey with songs both in English and French. Her first single “Parler ma pensée” was a success in Quebec, making it to the top 40 charts and being #1 in a few stations. “The Grand Voyage Pt.1”, her new EP record composed aboard ships was released ad self produced in the fall of 2017. The first radio single “Charlottetown” is now making it’s way through the Canadian stations.
